College sweethearts Grace and Jasper came to us seeking guidance on how to best create a cohesive celebration within their budget. With open minds, we toured diverse venues in the area, from woodland retreats to coastal and garden settings. But it was love at first sight when we visited THE CHATEAU. The whimsical welded dragon on the roof instantly captured their hearts, but it was the indoor pool that declared the venue hunt game over—Grace immediately knew she'd be ending their celebration with a celebratory plunge.
We let the venue take the lead on setting the wedding’s aesthetic. Grace selected a striking burnt orange and baby blue color palette that beautifully complemented both the autumn leaves, stone castle walls, and unexpected (intermittent) clear skies. Despite their November wedding date, Grace was determined to have her outdoor ceremony—and the weather cooperated with just a light sprinkle!
Candlelight transformed the stone interior for dinner, creating a warm, intimate atmosphere where guests enjoyed delicious eats from Paper Plate BBQ. Instead of the traditional single cake, each table received their own to cut and share—a touch that proved incredibly popular. A perfectly color-matched rented Porsche created a fun juxtaposition against the old European castle backdrop, making for memorable photos that captured the playful elegance of their special day.
